[Reset Syndrome]
I'm confused with the cyber world everyday. I act recklessly and avoid difficulties.
If you get an item in the game stand ... I'm more into the world on the screen.

If you get an item in the game stand ... I'm more into the world on the screen.
Not long ago, YouTube, the world's largest video site, became a mess. There was only a 90 minute connection failure, and many people complained. With this incident, we were able to look back on how much we were reliant on a small machine called a smartphone.
With smartphones, we do a lot of activities. I find funny videos, comment on social media, or play games. There will be many friends staring at the smartphone screen. Sometimes I feel the world in this little screen is the real world I live in.
In July, a third grade student at an elementary school drove his mother's car and broke the ten cars parked. The student said, "I learned to drive in a car game I usually enjoy." How does the game and the actual driving differ? No matter how graphic technology develops, the game screen is vivid. There are a lot of young people who can not really distinguish between virtual and reality because they are overly engaged in the game.
◇ From the beginning again, the reset syndrome
In psychology, the symptoms that confuse reality and the cyber world are called 'reset syndrome'. It is called Internet addiction when you know that you have to do other things first but you can not do anything without the internet. This is one type of reset syndrome. It was originally written in 1990 in Japan, which means that, just as you can start over from scratch when you press the reset button when your computer is bucking, you can mistake it for real time.
If you fall into the reset syndrome, you can believe that the mistakes that are happening in reality can be reversed at any time. For example, when you play a car game, you hit a wall or other car. The car turns round and round. But even after the game is over, I can always start new and I'm more brave. In reality, then a big accident will happen.
I do not feel sorry or a sense of responsibility because I think that anyone who shows a reset syndrome can easily turn it back even if it hurts others. I have a problem with increasingly reckless behavior without thinking about what scary consequences I might have. It is characterized by a tendency to avoid excessive and start again even if there is a little difficulty.
Examples of the reset syndrome are common in our surroundings. When I search the portal site, I can not wait even if the internet connection is delayed a little and I keep clicking on the refresh button, or if the computer screen stops, I press the button to turn on again without hesitation.
Even if you are not in front of a smartphone or a computer, you can get a lot of reset symptoms. Some people do not just fix that part of their handwriting, but they rip the paper itself and start writing again. If you fight with your friends and your relationship gets worse, you'll be out of contact rather than trying to reconcile. It's all a reset syndrome aftermath.
◇ Our brains like dopamine
So why is it that you are falling into the reset syndrome? Why are toxic teens easily dependent on the Internet? Adolescence is a time of body and mind growth. The growing brain is very adaptable. So the brain adapts to the game. When you play a game, you get an item or a level up. I am happy to think. At this very moment, the brain produces dopamine, a neurotransmitter.
Dopamine makes us feel good. The brain changes the brain nerve cells to do more and more of the action that dopamine has. So I like to play games. I can not predict which moment will be rewarded, so I am more committed to the game.
If the symptoms of the reset syndrome get worse, there is a real sense of danger that could put you and others at risk. To prevent this, you need to reduce your time on the internet. Let's try not to play internet games for more than 4 hours a day. It will be easy to keep your promise if you set the time to "What time do you have to do" or "Let's play in the living room and not in the room".
Above all, if you feel that your symptoms are already worse, you should ask for help. It can be difficult to control your own mood. If you try to shut down the Internet after a setback syndrome gets worse, you'll think that it hinders you from doing good on the brain.
